Step 1: Login or Sign Up to Your Certopus Account
Go to the Certopus Official Website and log in to your existing account.
If you do not have an account yet, click on the Sign Up option and create a new account using your email address.
Step 2: Open the Organization Section
Click on the Organization section to access your organization settings and management options.
Step 3: Navigate to API Management
Inside the Organization section, find and click on API Management.
Step 4: Click on “Create a New API Key”
On the API Management page, click the Create a New API Key button.
This will open the API key creation settings.
Step 5: Enter Key Details and Set Permissions
Give your API key a name so you can easily identify its purpose later.
Next, choose the permissions you want to assign to the key based on your requirements:
Read – Allows viewing and accessing data
Write – Allows creating and updating data
Admin – Provides full administrative access
After selecting the permissions, click on Create New Key.
Your new API key will now be generated and ready to use.
Important Security Tip
Keep your API key secure and never share it publicly. Avoid exposing it in frontend code, screenshots, or public repositories.
