How to Send Emails Through Microsoft in Certopus: Step-by-Step Guide

Learn how to configure Microsoft email sending in Certopus for professional communication, better deliverability, and seamless Outlook or Microsoft 365 integration.

Step 1: Access Your Certopus Account

Start by logging into your Certopus Account.

If you do not already have an account, create a new one and complete the initial setup process.

Step 2: Open Profile Settings

Once you are on the dashboard, locate your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Click on it to open the SMTP Settings

Step 4: Choose Your Email Provider

From the dropdown options, select your email provider. In this case, choose Microsoft

Step 5: Connect Your Microsoft Account

Click on the Connect button to directly connect your Microsoft account with Certopus.

Step 6: Enter SMTP Configuration Details (Optional)

Now, enter the SMTP configuration details provided by your Microsoft email service.

This typically includes:

  • SMTP Server Address

  • Port Number

  • Username (your email address)

  • Password or App Password

Make sure all credentials are entered correctly to avoid connection or authentication issues.

Step 7: Send a Test Email

After connecting your account, click on the inactive button beside the Save button to activate it. Then, click on Send Test Email to confirm that the integration is working properly.

Alternative Method: Connect Through Integrations

You can also connect Microsoft through the Integrations section in Certopus.

Step 1: Open the Integrations Section

Go to the Integrations section from your Certopus dashboard.

Click on Microsoft 365 Integration and log in with your Microsoft account.

Step 2: Send a Test Email

After connecting your account, click on the inactive button beside the Save button to activate it. Then, click on Send Test Email to confirm that the integration is working properly.
